Application Instructions

To achieve a smooth, long-lasting matt finish with Sarvottam Delight Interior Emulsion, proper surface preparation and application are essential.

Step 1: Surface Preparation

Ensure the wall surface is clean, dry, and free from dust, dirt, grease, loose particles, and other contaminants. Check that the surface pH is below 11 before beginning the painting process.

Step 2: Sanding

Sand the surface thoroughly to remove loose material and uneven areas. Clean away sanding dust to create a smooth and suitable base for painting.

Step 3: Apply Interior Cement Primer

Apply one uniform coat of Sarvottam Interior Cement Primer to the prepared surface. Allow the primer to dry according to the manufacturer's instructions.

Step 4: Apply Wall Putty

Apply two coats of Sarvottam Wall Putty to fill minor imperfections and create an even surface. Once dry, sand the putty to achieve a smooth finish and remove any remaining dust.

Step 5: Apply Delight Interior Emulsion

Apply 2–3 coats of Delight Interior Emulsion using a suitable brush or roller. Ensure even application across the entire surface for a consistent matt finish.

Step 6: Allow Proper Drying

Maintain a drying interval of approximately 6 hours between coats. Avoid applying subsequent coats before the previous coat has dried adequately.

Important Application Tips

Always prepare the wall surface properly before painting.
Do not apply paint to damp or excessively alkaline surfaces.
Stir the paint thoroughly before application.
Use clean and appropriate painting tools.
Follow the manufacturer's instructions for thinning and application.
Ensure adequate ventilation during application and drying.
Avoid aggressive cleaning until the paint has fully cured.
