Application Instructions

For a smooth, durable, and long-lasting metal paint finish, follow these recommended application steps.

Step 1: Surface Inspection

Inspect the metal surface for rust, dust, grease, loose paint, and other contaminants. Identify areas requiring additional cleaning or surface preparation.

Step 2: Surface Cleaning

Clean the metal surface thoroughly to remove dirt, dust, rust, grease, and loose particles. Use appropriate cleaning and sanding tools where necessary to prepare a sound surface.

Step 3: Ensure Proper Drying

Allow the cleaned metal surface to dry completely before applying the primer. Avoid application over moisture or contaminated surfaces.

Step 4: Stir the Primer

Open the container and stir Sarvottam Red Oxide Metal Primer thoroughly to achieve a uniform consistency before application.

Step 5: Thin if Necessary

If thinning is required, add Mineral Turpentine Oil according to the manufacturer's recommended dilution instructions. Mix thoroughly until the primer reaches a suitable application consistency.

Step 6: Apply the First Coat

Apply the first coat of Sarvottam Red Oxide Metal Primer evenly across the prepared metal surface using suitable painting equipment. Ensure consistent coverage.

Step 7: Allow Complete Drying

Allow the first primer coat to dry completely before applying the second coat. Follow the drying instructions provided on the product packaging.

Step 8: Apply the Second Coat

Apply the second coat evenly to achieve a uniform primed surface. Allow it to dry properly before applying a compatible finishing paint.

Step 9: Proper Storage

After application, tightly close the primer container to prevent contamination and unnecessary exposure to air. Store according to the manufacturer's instructions.
