Application Instructions

For effective surface sealing, improved paint adhesion, and a durable finish, follow these recommended application steps.

Step 1: Surface Inspection

Inspect the wall surface for cracks, loose plaster, dust, dirt, and other imperfections. Ensure the surface is structurally sound and suitable for primer application.

Step 2: Surface Cleaning

Clean the wall thoroughly to remove dust, grease, loose particles, and other contaminants. Make sure the surface is completely dry before proceeding.

Step 3: Repair Cracks and Imperfections

Fill cracks, holes, and minor surface defects using Sarvottam Wall Putty. Allow repaired areas to dry properly before sanding.

Step 4: Surface Sanding

Sand the repaired surface thoroughly to remove uneven areas and achieve a smooth, uniform base. Clean away sanding dust before applying the primer.

Step 5: Prepare the Primer

Stir Sarvottam Eco Interior/Exterior Cement Primer thoroughly before application.

Dilute the primer with 30–40% clean water according to the recommended mixing ratio. Stir well to ensure a uniform consistency.

Step 6: Apply the First Coat

Apply one even coat of Sarvottam Eco Cement Primer using a suitable brush, roller, or spray. Ensure uniform coverage across the prepared surface.

Step 7: Allow Proper Drying

Allow the first coat to dry for approximately 4–6 hours before applying the next coat. Actual drying conditions may vary depending on temperature, humidity, and ventilation.

Step 8: Apply the Second Coat

Apply the second coat evenly over the prepared surface. Allow the primer to dry properly before proceeding with a compatible finishing paint.
