Application Instructions

For a smooth, durable, and long-lasting interior paint finish, follow these recommended application steps.

Step 1: Surface Preparation

Ensure the wall surface is clean, dry, and free from dust, grease, dirt, loose particles, and other contaminants. Check that the surface pH is below 11 before application.

Step 2: Surface Sanding

Sand the surface thoroughly to remove loose particles, uneven areas, and existing surface imperfections. Remove sanding dust to create a clean base for priming.

Step 3: Fill Cracks and Imperfections

Use Sarvottam Wall Putty to fill cracks, holes, and minor surface imperfections. Allow the repaired areas to dry completely, then sand to achieve a smooth and uniform surface.

Step 4: Prepare the Primer

Stir Sarvottam Interior Cement Primer thoroughly before use. Dilute the primer with 35–50% clean water, following the manufacturer's recommended application requirements.

Step 5: Strain the Primer

Strain the diluted primer to remove unwanted particles and ensure a smooth, consistent mixture before application.

Step 6: Apply the First Coat

Apply one uniform coat of Sarvottam Interior Cement Primer using a suitable brush or roller. Ensure even coverage across the entire prepared surface.

Step 7: Apply Additional Coat if Required

Allow the first coat to dry properly before applying a second coat where necessary. A total of 1–2 coats is recommended depending on the surface condition.
