Application Instructions

For effective surface sealing and a smooth, durable base, follow these recommended application steps.

Step 1: Surface Inspection

Inspect the exterior wall for cracks, loose plaster, flaking paint, moisture problems, or other surface defects. Repair damaged areas and address any water leakage before painting.

Step 2: Surface Preparation

Ensure the cement surface is clean, dry, and free from dust, grease, dirt, loose particles, and other contaminants. The surface pH should be below 11 before application.

Step 3: Surface Sanding

Sand the wall to remove loose particles, uneven areas, and poorly adhering existing coatings. Clean away all sanding dust to create a suitable base for primer application.

Step 4: Prepare the Primer

Stir Sarvottam Exterior Cement Primer thoroughly before use. If thinning is necessary, follow the manufacturer's recommended dilution instructions. Avoid excessive dilution.

Step 5: Apply Exterior Cement Primer

Apply a uniform coat of Sarvottam Exterior Cement Primer using a suitable brush or roller. Ensure consistent application across the surface, particularly on porous areas.

Step 6: Allow Proper Drying

Allow the primer to dry adequately before applying subsequent coats or compatible exterior finishing products. Follow the drying and recoating instructions provided on the product packaging.

Step 7: Apply Compatible Exterior Topcoat

Once the primed surface is ready, proceed with a suitable Sarvottam exterior paint system according to its recommended application instructions.
